NAZIM ISMAIL

I'm Nazim Ismail, the founder of Naz Performance and your go-to fitness expert and Personal Trainer in Old Street London . With over a decade in the fitness industry, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 1,200 men—from elite athletes to everyday professionals—achieve their ideal physiques. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Physiology and Exercise Science and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, making me a trusted Personal Trainer in City of London.

My journey wasn’t always smooth. I was once a skinny, insecure kid with low self-esteem. But through dedication and hard work, I transformed my body and my life. Now, I’m passionate about helping others do the same. My approach is rooted in both science and practical experience, and I know how to make fitness work for real people with real lives.

When I'm not in the gym, you'll probably find me collecting the finest Scotch somewhere in the Scottish Highlands, indulging in some pizza or pasta, or down south catching waves on my surfboard. I’m a firm believer that life is all about balance—fitness should enhance your life, not take it over. I have trained with Naz for over 2 years. He's very professional and, what I appreciate the most, he's nice and respectful. As someone who identifies as a woman, gyms are not always the easiest environment to navigate. I am also not naturally an enthusiast for lifting weights, so this was a huge step for me.
